Vivalafocaccia.com design has been thought to match the previous existent blog with the need of a functional e-commerce for multiple vendors. We tried to not losing the previous structure and give visual consistency to the heavy amount of users which the blog already had.
Starting from a brand new logo, which combines a neat style to the concept of tradition, we changed the top bar experience in a way that everything could be reached from everywhere. Search, shop and account functions are easy to explore, always visible.
Looking at the big amount of informations, we opted for a double menu with multiple dropdowns. The second menu is dynamic and it changes from the blog to the e-commerce, to provide the right informations at the right time. In the recipe page, a fixed bottom bar has been designed to keep track of steps and progress.
Finally, the whole e-commerce has been updated and integrated with a multi-vendor system, connecting recipes, products and vendors to maximise conversions.
